Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

At Dental Apptitude, accessible from dentalapptitude.com, the privacy of our visitors is one of our main priorities. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK Data Protection Legislation (UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018).

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information that is strictly necessary to provide you with access to our web applications, interactive simulators, and billing management.

  • Account Credentials: When you sign up, we securely collect your email address via our authentication provider (Supabase).
  • Payment Information: When you purchase a subscription, financial transactions are handled entirely by our payment gateway (Stripe). We never view or store your raw credit card numbers or billing details.
  • Usage Analytics: We track anonymous diagnostic data, page interaction statistics, and traffic paths via Google Analytics to help improve our educational tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure your personalized student or clinical account dashboard.
  • Process subscription transactions and dynamically verify user subscription status.
  • Analyze user interactions to optimize simulator calculations, vector rendering, and application logic.
  • Send critical transactional system messages (such as password resets or account access links).

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. To run our serverless architecture seamlessly, we securely transmit data to the following infrastructure sub-processors:

Supabase: Provides cloud database infrastructure and encrypted user authentication access points.

Stripe: Manages secure merchant credit card tokenization, direct payment checkouts, and customer billing portfolios.

Google Analytics: Provides baseline analytical tracking code to record software page usage metrics.

4. Your Data Protection Rights (UK GDPR)

Under UK data protection laws, you retain full ownership of your data and are entitled to the following rights:

  • The right to access: You can request digital copies of your personal data held within our tables.
  • The right to rectification: You can update incorrect metadata or email identifiers.
  • The right to erasure ("Right to be forgotten"): You can request that we permanently wipe your account profile database row.
  • The right to object/restrict processing: You can opt out of any analytical traffic tracking implementations.

5. Contact Us
